Not far from the hustle and bustle of Salt Lake Cities downtown district sits a quaint little neighborhood, Emerson Heights, or better known as 15th and 15th.
Enjoy walking the tree lined streets and the charming home exteriors and decor.
15th and 15th is home to trendy businesses, restaurants, several boutiques,
art galleries, book stores and coffee shops.
Once considered Salt Lake City's first middle class neighborhood, 15th
and 15th is still full of the brick bungalow homes made popular in the
40's and 50's. Small to mid-sized homes were quickly being gobbled up in
the 90's to be replaced by mini mansions, that is until the local
residents in conjunction with the Salt Lake City Council began drafting
ordinances to protect the integrity and ambiance of this precious Salt
Lake City neighborhood gem.
Located within walking distance of Sugar House Park, a Salt Lake County
facility with ample walking trails, bike paths and a fresh water lake
that also captures excess drainage from the snow melt in the spring and
early summer months. The Southern slope of the
park acts as a favorite sledding hill when fresh snowfall allows.
